Betadine® products should not be used in patients sensitive to iodine or other product ingredients. Betadine® products should not be used in the eyes, over large areas of the body, or longer than one week unless directed by a doctor. Betadine® products are for external use only.
Betasept® should not be used in patients who are allergic to chlorhexidine gluconate or any other ingredients of the product. Betasept® should not come in contact with meninges, be used in the genital area, or as a preoperative skin prepration of the head or face. Betasept® is for external use only.
